    For AC (Level 2) charging: your vehicle's charge rate may be limited to the onboard AC-to-DC charging system on your vehicle, most full battery electric vehicles (BEVs) allow 7kW, though most more modern BEVs may accept 11kW+.  

    Check with your vehicle manufacturer-provided specifications to see what charging rates your vehicle allows. Charging chargers will charge up to the limit of your vehicle's ability OR the maximum charger power.
